Finn is certified by the American Kennel Club as a Canine Good Citizen and Trickdog. In his free time, he loves to do agility, swim and play frisbee. Finn has many known commands (see list below) and is also able to learn new commands very quickly.

Finn is an extremely willing and enthusiastic dog. He lives for love and attention from humans and his work.

• Jump (in the air)

• Jump (over an object)

• Jump up on any object or person (only on command)

• Speak (bark)

• Sit

• Stay

• Heel

• Kiss

• Touch (any object)

• Lay Down

• Wait

• Shake

• High Five

• Smile (mouth open and ears up)

• Roll over

• Bow

• Crawl

• Shy (cover face with paw)

• Jump through a hoop or arms

• Pick up toys and put them in a basket

• Give left paw or right paw

• Fetch (any object such as remote, medicine bottle, toy)

• Hold an object (in mouth)

• Can catch frisbees and balls

• Place (find your mark)

• Spin (left and right)

• Back up

• Swim (including jump off of a dock, boat, platform and will fetch item thrown into the water)

• Sit Pretty (Sit on haunches with front paws up)

• Silent hand signals for most all his commands

• Loves all people including kids and small children

• Great with other animals including kittens, puppies, small dogs, horses, birds

• Will wear any costume (including glasses, hats and shoes)

• Allows every part of his body to be touched and handled (Most dogs don’t like their paws handled or their tails touched)

• Will stand with two front paws on countertop, table, railing, etc like a human, with back paws on the ground.

• Desensitized to many different situations such as loud noises, large crowds, bright lights, etc.
